There’s something exciting about starting a mystery quilt — especially when you have no idea what the finished quilt will look like!
I’ve participated in Mystery Five-O projects before, and I’m ready for another quilting adventure. This time, it’s Gaelic Charm, and I’m giving it a Christmas twist!
I’ve already selected my fabrics, and I’m loving this festive combination of reds, greens, and whites. My main fabric features beautiful poinsettias and holiday greenery, paired with a red-and-white print for the outer border, a soft green for the inner border, and a subtle white-on-white background.
The first clue releases on November 4, so for now, everything is ready and waiting. That’s part of the fun of a mystery quilt — choosing fabrics, anticipating the clues, and wondering how everything will come together.
I’m especially excited to see how these Christmas fabrics transform into a quilt as the mystery unfolds.
I’ll be sharing my progress here on The Quilty Queue as I work through the clues. I hope you’ll follow along!
